Leoni's fight against NCL

Searching

Leoni is sleeping in my arms while we drive back home from 'Sterntalerhof', it is in the evening
and it is snowing for the first time this year. In this moment I am thinking about the 'Erlkönig' from Goethe
and can not hold back my tears.
Arriving back home the mood is odd, everyone is quiet, almost scarred. But we talk in a normal way,
we joke around a little bit and support each other.
The next day the search begins. There are no drugs or therapies which could cure this disease,
therefore I am looking for research projects and reports from other families online.
We write mails to Germany, Ukraine, Israel, Kuala Lumpur and New York.
